We biked through the mountains of Peru, crossing into Bolivia on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Once in Chile,
the biting rain and winds of the "bolivian winter" drove us to seek out warmth and sunshine on the Chilean coast. After three warm weeks of busing, biking, surfing, and eating our way down the coast and through
the Atacama Desert, the growing threat of COVID-19 brought our trip to an abrupt halt in Valparaíso, Chile.
